Amber Laura Heard is 30 years old American actress, who was born in 22 April, 1986, in American state Texas, Austin. She is a daughter of an internet researcher, Patricia Paige and her father is a contractor named as David Clinton Heard. Amber Heard is raised as Catholic but later on she declared that she is an atheist because she was so much obsessed with the works of Ayn Rand. She states in an interview that she is so much fond of Ayn Rand’s work. She has read all of her books and with the help of which she realized that all she needs is herself and nothing else.

Amber started her work on TV, back in 2004 from Eisley’s music video for the song titled as ‘I wasn’t prepared’. She also appeared in Kenny Chesney’s ‘There goes my life’. Amber also performed some small supporting roles in the series like ‘The Mountains’ and ‘Jack and Bobby’. She made her first appearance in a movie based on sports drama, named as ‘Friday Night Lights’ with Billy Bob Thornton. This was her first movie on screen and the movie got mixed reviews. It was a critical and commercial hit. After that she kept on performing small supporting roles in different movies and TV series like Criminal Minds etc.

After 4 years of struggle in 2008, she appeared in a supporting role character in ‘pineapple express’. Which was a stoner comedy and in martial arts drama ‘Never back down’. That was the time and she gained popularity and appeared in Hollywood film festival where she won a Breakthrough award. After that she was offered for the main lead role in unconventional slasher movie, titled as ‘all the boys love Mandy Lane’.

Personal Life Updates

As far as her personal life is concerned, Heard was dating Tasya Van Ree, a photographer, and the relationship continued for 4 years, from 2008 to 2012. Than back in 2011, during the production of the film, ‘The rum diary’, Amber Heard met Johnny Depp and after her breakup with Tasya, Amber and Johnny began to live together. Later on they married each other in February 2015, in a private ceremony in Los Angeles. But after 15 months of their wedding, in 2016 May, she filed divorced against Johnny by saying he is an abusive man.
