Home Remedies to Remove Skin Tan Instantly & Naturally

Skin tanning is caused basically due to radiations from sun. UVA radiations penetrate the epidermal layer of skin and cause the melanocytes to release melanin. Melanin, a brown pigment, is basically responsible for skin tanning and darkening of skin.

1) Cucumber, Lemon and rose water mixture:
Cucumber, lemon and rose water can together be very helpful in removing skin tan as cucumber and lemon itself serve as an amazing bleaching agents. Vitamin C and citric acid are the components of lemon juice that are beneficial in lightening skin color. Rose water and cucumber itself are used for making skin more glowing and refreshing.
Mix tablespoon of each cucumber juice, lemon juice and rose water and apply on skin with cotton for 10 minutes.

2) Papaya and honey face pack:
The enzymes in papaya are helpful in removing skin tan. These enzymes are helpful in restoring the original color of skin and reduce scars and blemishes. Honey is also helpful in moisturizing and softening of skin.
Mash well half cup of ripe papaya and add 1 tablespoon of honey in it. Apply on face and let it dry for 30 minutes. Remove by rinsing off with clean water.

3) Strawberries and milk cream mixture:
Milk cream is helpful in providing moisture to skin and the strawberries are a good source of removing dark circles and freckles. It also reduces excessive pigmentation of skin.
Crush four strawberries and 2 tablespoon of milk and apply on face for 30 minutes. Rinse with clean water.


4) Milk powder, honey and almond pack:
Milk powder provides clear skin color and texture. It is very beneficial in removing skin tan.
Add 2 tablespoons of milk powder and 1 tablespoon of honey and mix. Add few drops of almond oil and apply on face. Let it stay for 20 minutes and then rinse with water.

5) Cornmeal and lemon juice face scrub:
Cornmeal acts as a polisher for skin and removes black heads and dead cells from the skin. It is beneficial for dead skin as it removes oil and sebum from the skin and does not let the skin to dry.

Make a mixture of 1 tablespoon yogurt, 1 tablespoon lemon juice and 2 tablespoons of cornmeal and apply. Massage with your fingers for 2 minutes and let it remain on the face for 15-2- minutes. Cleanse with clean water.
