Natural Scrub Recipes
Orange peel yogurt facial scrub
Orange peel powder is already available in the market but if you still can’t found it, you can dry the orange peel in sun and blend in blender to get fine paste and store in air tight jar. Take 1 tablespoon of orange peel and mix with one tablespoon of plain yogurt and mix to get a fine paste. Use this as scrub and exfoliate gently to remove dead cells and get smooth skin after few days.
Lentil facial scrub
Take moong dal and dry it in sun and blend in blender and store in a jar. Take 2 tbsp. of this powder and mix with whole milk to get fine paste. Use this mixture as scrub and wash with warm water.
Apple Face scrub
Peel an apple, remove seeds and blend the flesh in fine paste, add 2 tbsp. of oats powder, a tsp of honey and tbsp. of water to have fine consistency and use as scrub to exfoliate the skin.
Rice Flour Yogurt Scrub
Mix yogurt with rice flour and scrub your face gently.
Sandalwood gram flour scrub
Take pure sandalwood powder with equal quantity of gram flour and whole milk to get smooth paste and use as scrub.
Chickpea Exfoliating Scrub
Mix equal quantity of sandalwood powder and chickpea powder with water and apply on your face for 5-8 minutes and rub gently.
Plain Oatmeal scrub
Cook 1 tbsp. of oats in water and let it cool. Add fresh lemon juice and apply on your face. You can also use oats alone as scrub as it works great.
Yogurt oatmeal scrub
Cook oats in little water and let it cool. Mix honey and yogurt and apply on dry skin and rub gently. This will moisturize the dry skin in a best possible way.
Cornmeal scrub
One tbsp. of cornmeal and water works great as scrub.
Almond scrub
Milk combined with almond powder works great as a scrub. This is the best treatment for dry skin, as it leaves the skin moisturized, clear and glowing. Almond powder is easily available in market but if you still can’t found it, you can soak few of the almonds in milk overnight and blend in the morning to make fine paste. In fact this soaking almond method is pretty much better than getting almond powder from the market.
Honey Almonds Scrub with milk
Take almond powder, whole milk and honey together to get a smooth paste and apply on your face for 5 minutes and wash with warm water.
